Last week on my Instagram stories I got a request to share my Top 5 Beauty Products! I am honestly so excited to share this with y'all because if you know me, you know I LOVE makeup!
When people ask me about my makeup routine, I honestly struggle with an answer because I love to experiment with different products, eyeshadow combinations, and brands! I have, however, obtained a few STAPLE, must have, A+ products over the years. Although my standard makeup look may change from day to day, these products are always in my bag.
1. Sephora Collection: Perfection Mist Airbrush Foundation
I have used this foundation for almost 9 years! My skin is so finicky. I struggled forever to find a foundation that worked well with my dry, eczema covered, oily skin. I know what you're thinking... oily and dry don't go together. Sure enough, I have it though. This foundation doesn't run off my face, and it doesn't take to my eczema patches. It looks smooth and feels light. The coverage is great, without looking like you have a ton of makeup on. I use the color "light."
2. Bareminerals: Broad Spectrum Concealer
This stuff is life changing! I apply it under my eyes EVERY DAY. It makes you look fresh and well rested. Throughout the day it doesn't break up, and it stays in place. I use the color "well rested."
3. Too Faced: Better than Sex Mascara
This product has only been in my bag for almost a year, but there's no turning back now! It works wonders for my lashes. (Disclaimer: I don't enjoy the water proof version. It's almost impossible to get off and feels clumpy.)
4. Smashbox: Photo Finish Primer in Radiance
I'm in love with this product. It goes on smoothly and doesn't irritate my skin. It gives a "sunkissed" look to your everyday makeup routine.
5. E.L.F: Eyeliner Pen, Black
This is the BEST eyeliner pen I've ever found, and it is so reasonably priced! It is so easy to draw on the eyeliner shape you want. It has a fine tip that gradually gets bigger so it's easy to start small and go big if you want. I use the color black. This is a must have in my makeup bag!
These are just a few of my favorite products! Of course, we all have our own style, likes, and dislikes, and that is A-OKAY!!! I always recommend buying a "travel size" of a product if available. This prevents you from spending money on something you don't care for and having to use it all before you can try something else.
